Senior Scientific Manager
Evommune is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic Preclinical Pharmacology/Translational Scientist to take lead and execute on preclinical pharmacology and translational immunology strategy. In this role, the Translational Scientist is accountable for the vision and scientific oversight to help build the company’s strategy for drug development programs.
Responsibilities
- Adopt a highly collaborative approach to establish strong relationships with external partners and the internal drug discovery team.
- Work closely with Discovery Research to determine and manage the preclinical pharmacology and translational science development plan (pharmacodynamics, PK/PD, efficacy, MOA).
- Establish and lead early biomarker and target identification and validation strategies.
- Identify and develop relationships with academic collaborators and clinicians to integrate value added efforts into the drug development process.

- PhD and postdoctoral studies in the biomedical sciences and 5-8 years of relevant translational sciences (immunology) experience in biotech/ pharma. Experience in Neuro-Immunology is a plus.
- A full understanding of the current immunology landscape and how to build the company’s translational science strategy for drug development programs.
- Track record of developing efficient processes and leading complex cross-functional team collaborations, including managing relationships with internal and external collaborators.
- Experience evaluating and translating therapeutic efficacy from preclinical invitro and invivo immunology models to patients.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $205,000 and the position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and/or equity-linked compensation. Salary ranges are determined by role, level and location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
